A Fall Wedding

I've known Xarra for many years, from when I lived on Vancouver Island. Xarra moved to Edmonton a few years ago and reached out to me to photograph her wedding to Alex. I had previously done a maternity set for them a couple of years ago.

The wedding was in Canmore, at Quarry lake, starting at first light. The setting was magical with the Fall colours and a clear sky - but it was also cold!

After the ceremony, we headed to Moraine Lake for some scenic photos - it turned out this was almost the last day Moraine Lake was open that season as soon afterwards there was a major dump of snow.

A magical day, of which I hope I managed to capture the essence.
